MR VEITCH'S COMMITTEE
REFUSES TO BE BOUGHT. ASKS THE MEMBER TO KEEP PUS PLEDGE. I (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Last Night. A deputation representing Mr Wilford's Hut-t Committee interviewed the executive of Mr Yeitch's Election Committee to-night, and asked that Committee to request Mr Veitch to pair with Mr Wilford. The Committee unanimously declined to accede to the request,'. and resolved to telegraph to Mr Veitoh informing him that they had full confidence in his determination to stand by his election pledges.
