PROFESSOR GILRUTH
AN IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT. (Received This Morning, 1 o'clock.) • MELBOURNE, February 14. Professor J. A. Gilruth, of the Melbourne University, has been appointed Administrator of the. Northern Territory. (The many friends' in Masterton and throughout New Zealand of the genial Professor, who was for years head of the Veterinary Department in this Dominion, will be delighted to hear of his preferment.)
