MASTERTON SHOW
The stock breeder of the Dominion have not been slow to recognise the importance of the Masterton Show from a breeder's point of view, and this is demonstrated by the fact that the exhibition of sheep, horses and cattle to be made at the beautiful Solway grounds on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week will eclipse anything of the kind ever seen in the North Island. Ts'ot only are the entries in the individual .classes numerically stronger than ever before, but the quality of tho stock to be shown will be much above the average. Tho whole of tho prominent breeders of Hawke's Bay, Manawatu and Wairarapa are represented, and many entries have been received from Marlborough, Auckland and Taranaki Provinces. Apart from the stock, there will be a magnificent display of farm produce, and the whole of tho competitions will be keenly contested. Those who have not already made arrangements for accommodation during show week should communicate with the secretary (Mr J. B. Ennnett), who will find comfortable billets for them.
