CHRISTCHURCH TRAMWAYS
MEETING OF EMPLOYEES. A MOTION DEFEATED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHItISTCHURCH, Last Night. At a meeting on Saturday night of the Christchureh Tramway Employees' Union, from which newspaper reporters were excluded, it is understood that a proposition- was made to the effect that necessary steps, should be taken to cancel the registration of the Union under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, and that the motion was defeated by a large majority.
