MASTERTON SHOW
RECORD ENTRIES. It is fully anticipated that the entries for the Masterton A. and P. Association's show, to be held next week, will constitute a record. Up till three o'clock on Saturday last the total entries received had totalled 1809, and the secretary (Mr J. B. Em/nett) assured an Age representative that there were several hundreds yet to arrive. As the total last year was -2067, it is anticipated that this number will be exceeded by fully two hundred. The sheep, horse and cattle -classes will be stronger than ever before, while the produce exhibits will be far ahead of anything previously seen in the district. The stock exhibits are spread over both Islands, and the judges will experience no little difficulty in arriving at a decision.
