RIFLE SHOOTING
ALFREDfON CLUB. The above club held the fifth cup and trophy shoot on Thursday last. Rifleman George Benton secured a leg in for the Challenge Cup, and he now leads by one point, with a score of 270, President Wilton and Dep-uty-President F. Percy being vjinners up with 278. W. Algie has scored 270, C. Benton and T. Groves 272. The final, which promises to be very close, will be fired on February 17th. The following are Thursday's scores :
