THE BUCHANAN HOME
A PUBLIC RECOGNITION. A representative meeting was held in the Town Hall, Greytown, on Thursday night, the Mayor (Mr D. P. Loasby) in the chair, to discuss the best way of shoving appreciation of Mr W. C. Buchanan's generosity in giving the Heme for Incurables for the Wairarapa district. After discussion, it wa,s resolved that although built at Greytown, the home was for the whole hospital district, extending .is far as Pahiatua, and it was desirable to have a representative meetirg (f delegates from all the towns and districts interested, this in view, it was decided to circularise the heads c<f all local bodies in the Wairarapa Hospital area. An executive committee, consisting of Messrs . Loas-by. Deller, Smart, and Orr, was set up, and Mr Bunting, secretary of the Hospital Board, is to be af-ked to act. as secretary to the movejnent.
