ADVERTISING.
We do not mean the judicious newspaper advertisement, which is essential to every business man who wishes to keep out of the poor-house. We refer to advertising generally. These are the days when people cannot afford to hide their light under a bushel. And since "(boosting" has become fashionable, it has occurred to us that the New Zealand Government, or the High Comimssioner, or somebody in authority, would do good service for this country if they were to induce the education authorities at Home to give prominence to New Zealand in the school-hooks in use in the Motherland. It is surprising how little the average Britisher knows about this magnificent Dominion. If we could only teach the youngsters in the United Kingdom something about our climate and our resouro.es, the immigration question would be solved in a very few years.
