The Englishmen, in their match with Tasmania, gave a brilliant display, finally declaring their innings closed with four wickets down for 574. Wool ley was > particularly brilliant, scoring 305 in 229 minutes, including two sixes and forty-three fours. He gave two chances, and he and Rhodes added 206 to the score, and witih Hear no (another 254 were added. . Woolley's score of 305 is the highest this tour, and also beats R. E.
