IMPLEMENTS AT SHOWS.
The Mastertoii show, in common with those at other leading.-cejitr.es, lias suffered in recent years- through, the decision of the leading implement manufacturing firms of the Dominion not to exhibit. The reason given for this decision was that the cost of exhibiting at s-Ikums. was out of proportion to the benefits derived. In :this connection, it would be we'll if the Ma-sterton A. and P. Association were to offer space, free to implement
manufacturers. Tho farmers of the district are vitally interested in the latest improvements and innovations in regard to farm implements, and it is highly desirable that these in> provements should be exhibited. .It may be mentioned that the agreement entered into between the manufacturers not to exfliibit has just run out, and if the M'asterton Committee were to approach some of tlie firms there is a chance of a satisfactory exhibit being obtained for the coming show.
