Colonel Fi slier, financial secretary' of the Salvation Army in' Australasia, has arrived in, Ghristohurch, to make arrangements in connection with tie re-organisation of the Army in New Zealand. Colonel FUier states that under the old arrangement the Dominion, had onfly two headquarters, one at Christchuroii and one at Wellington. Under the new system, hoAvever, New Zeflltmd Mould be divided into four provimvß, .with headquarters in each, of the chief cpntres. . Tliis' alteration has been brought about preparatory to a greater change, wJien a Commissioner will take over the control of the whole work in, New Zealand. Hibh- j erto the.officer-in charge in New 1 Zealand has been responsible to the \ Australasian headquarters at Mel- j bourne, but under the new scheme, New Zealand will be autonomous, and responsible to,headquarters in London. Oalonel Fisher leaves for the North to-morrow night.
