In. reference to paper lined bags for lira© and cement, it was reisdiivedi to granit an extension of six weeks from Janiuiary Ist, 1912, in order to allow employers concerned to obtain, a siupply'of the necessary bags. The following resolution', as. the outcom» of the'TijWru strike;, was carried:— "That this Executive of the New Zealand Wiatersiide Workers' Federation condemn the action, of the Timaru waterside workers in striking on Decemiber 12tfo without', first consulting the Executive of the Federation, and {further that a« the Timaru Union' \and the LrytrteTtotn Union have rereferred tihear disputes solely' to. the Fetfaration. df La-boaxr, this, F«lera'tion■ repudiates, any further respon&i'hiKty so far as those two Unions are • toncerned." .-:■' v'->- • ■■'.'■'-•,.'v l . ; -;" ■"'
