THE SEAMEN'S AWARD.

SYDNEY, November 26. . A meeting of the Steamship Owners' Association shortly will discuss the men's award. Leading shipowners declared that the owners 'had no alternative but to accept it. It will be very awkward and difficult to conduct discipline under the new conditions, if it would be practicable at all. Another owner states that the pro-, bable result would be to raise freight and fares.-
