INCREASE IN WAGES GRANTED

LONDON, November 26. After several conferences the miners in Warwickshire obtained a minimum wage of 7is a day, with a proportionate increase in the lower grades. Mr Johnston, M.P., said that jf an equally good arrangement was made throughout the country there would be no national strike.
