A DERELICT.

ADELAIDE, November 9.
The steamier India reported striking a floating object in the dark in the vicinity of Recherche Island and receiving a severe shock. Subsequently the steamer Monarch reported sighting the hull of a waterlogged vessel in the direct lino of shipping between West and South Australia.
Tho identity of the derelict has not been ascertained.
