BRITAIN AND GERMANY.

(Received. November 9, 8.5 a.m.)

-LONDON, November 8.

Sir E. Grey, in the House of Commons, said the alleged publications of articles of the British Ambassador in Vienna, criticising the German, policy and the Hon. R. McKenna's speech had been the subject of communications between the British and German Governments. They were not of a nature to cause difficulties. The incidents 'had been construed in-Germany into international affronts and had aroused great resentment.

Tho Ambassador and Mr McKcnna were the victims of newspaper errors. He warned the country that if false news was recorded he believed the public sentiment would some day get beyond the Government's control.
