CURE FOR TUBERCULOSIS.
The interest-created in New B'outh Wales a month or i&o ago by the reported cure for (tuberculosis in cattle, discovered by Mr J. C. JRussell, of Coonna, hast been accentuated by a .report received to the effect that an animal suffering from the disease has been cured. When the news cf the cure got about, on representations .being made to the Department of Agriculture, Mr Palgrave, a veterinaiiy is/urgeon of the Stock Department, visited Oooma, a/nd. made a report upon the matter', and decided to 'await developments! iu> connection with Mu- Riusiselu's treatment of a beast which he inspected in May last. This cow was delivered to Mr Russell on March 28th, and after less than four months of treatment was restored to the owner on July 22nd, with practicality a new lease of life. Mr Russell claims. Shat a cure has been effected, and is about to treat another beast, poor to which the tuberculin teat he applied by the local inspector of stock.
