As there,are four positions to be filled, the Masr tertori County Council will probably make a recommendation to the Gfovernor on the subject. Messrs Hugh Morison and. Ales. D. McLeod have been re-ejected to represent the Feathers£on CqtJhty. Messrs Q. T. Bennett' and B. S. Yelvertbn have been; nominated for the combined; districts of Featherston ancL MartinJiorough, for which one member is> required. The election. will 1 take place on Wednesday next. '.'"':■ ■■. Messrs William Fisher and ; R. G. Welch have been re-eleoted unopposed to represent the Wairaraptf; South County Council on Ihe Board. The Pahiatua County representativesi on the Board will 1 again he Messrsi; S. Bolton and H. Cornelius. - •For the combined osiricts' of Eketahuna and Mauricerille, Messrs J. Dawson and F. W. Eummer have been elected without opposition.
