EXPORTS AND IMPORTS. The candidate drew attention to the'fact that during the past year there had• been a great falling off in. the exports of the Dominion, and he urged that this fact alone should ■' make the'people y cautious. When they considered that they had been on the wrong side of the ledger, so far as their exports' and imports were concerned, they were, forced to the conclusion that the Dominion was not in.' the" prosperous condition that it should be: Unless some draS" tie remedy was applied, they would nave a condition of affairs which, was unparalleled in the history of the Dominion.
