DEEP SEA RATES DEMANDED A SERIOUS POSITION.

SYDNEY, October 25., Over three thousand attended tfio wharf labourers' mass meeting. Telegrams were received from Messrs Hughes and Higgins and others recommending the resumption of work pending negotiations.
