The return euchre tourna .Ti.nrt letveen twenty mcmibersi of :he _ Masterton Fire Brigade, and a similar number from the Commercial and Farmers' Club, took place in the Club' ■■ rooms last evening, and proved a very close Jind interesting content The. brigade won by one point. Th-j results were: Club 40, Brigade 41. After the tournament the 'members of both teams adjourned to the dining hall of tlie Club, where an excellent supper was provided by the Brigade. Cheers were given for Host iSmith for the splendid arrangements in connection with the' catering, and a' pleasant evening was brought to a close with tlie singing of "Anld Lang Syne."
