TERRIBLE BURNING ACCIDENT
YOUNG WOMAN FRICHTFULLY INJURED. A terrible burning accident occurred at Wavorley. (by wliich Miss M. McMeckin sustained such severe injuries that she is not expected to recover. "It appears that she rose orrly and- proceededv to, light a' fire in the wash-house whilst the remainder of the family were milking in a shed close by. By some means or another her olothes became ignited, and whilst trying to beftt out the flames a tin of kerosene -was upset, and as-j Bisted in the conflagration. Hearing screams, those in the shed rushed up, only to find Miss MoMeekin lying on the floor of the wash-house, with her clothes sw- burning. The flames were at once extisguished, when it was found that the sufferer had sustained frightful injuries. On inquirv ii was ascertained that, though still alive, little.or ho .hop© is jheld out of Mis&'McMeolrin's' recovery. : .
