In a few years' time there will be none of them left, and the records of the '.early days will he lost to the country. The Library Committee of 'the House of Representatives hasf recommended that a vigorous effort be made to secure a collection of historical records. The, hope will be generally entertained that this recommendation will ibe given effect to. It would he a thousand pities if the noble deeds of the pioneer colonists of the Dominion were hot placed on,record..
