Ajbout half an inch of ram had fallen to 9 a.im., and a good deal more has fallen to-day and to-night, wliith a cold and blustering southerly add©d : Inland much more rain fell yesterday, and from FairMe wesU ward fresh smow is lying to-aiight. One inch of rain has fallen at Fairlie and Burke's Pass (still falling), and two to three inches at Tekapo and. Balmoral. BermErtage had a heavy fall. There are no signs of a change yet. The cold and we* wall, it is feared, be destructive to lambs.
