The Employers' Federation called a meeting of the Wallsend Lodge, at which a ballot was taken on the question of the miners doing the wheeling. This they refused. A ballot of the whole of the members of the' Federation on the subject is now being taken. Should the result be against the miners doing their own wheeling, the position will be extremely grave.
