FARMERS' POLITICAL FEDERATION.
The organiser of. the : Ifarmiers' Political Federation (Mr David Jone,s) wall deliver an address in Master-ton to-morrow. The idea of forming a fanners' politioal party has not appealed to the mian on the land in tihiis district. He is quite satisfied to sail along pleasantly, and is more concerned about the price of produce than tihe wihdrlagig of politics. It is only when tihe tax-gatherer comes along, or gome oppressive* legislation is tihrust upon him, that be begina to worry about politics. Possibly Mr Jones may be able to quicken, him to action. At anya-ate, it is well thiat fanners should be made acquainted with -their true position, and for this reason it is to be hoped there will be a satisfactory attendance at Mr Jones' meeting to-mor-row.
