DIVERTING A STREAM.

REPORT TO BE SUBMITTED.

Cr Hoar then suggested 'bringing thie ■water up Chaipel Street and down' King. Street into ithe river. The Mayor .said that the people who were hemefited by the creek might object to such a course. Or CLeary said that the property owners should he approached, for he wasi almost, that thiey would object. ■ Tlie Borough Engineer point'ed out that a large amount of 'surface water drained into the istream, siwL if it wais diviertied the disposal of isau*facie water .would ihave to he considered. The Mayor thought that if /what Or O'Leary said was Itirue it would he ani inisuperable- obstacle. The imotion- was carried.
