PAHIATUA STOCK SALE
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., held their weekly stock sale in Pahiatua on the 22nd inst., when they submitted a good yarding of sheep and a poor yarding of cattle, to a medium attendance of the public. Ewes in lamb and hoggets were rather easier than at the last two sales, but we effected a total clearance at the following prices:—Two-tooth ewes in lamb, 14s 9d; 4-tooth to 4-year old ewes in lamb, 13s 7d to 14s 7d; f.m. ewes in lamb, 7s to 9s; mixed hoggets, 9s 6d to 10s 3d; culls, 2s 9d to 3s 9d; 2 and 4-tooth wethers, 14s 7d; fat wethers, 17s Id.
