THE ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES.
A HOTEJL. COMES TO MAS7ERTON It transpires that-under the Teadjustment of th<» electoral boundaries, the Aohanga. Ferry Hotel is forough& into the Master-ton electorate, and 'will 'consequently lose its * license. This hotel is owihkl by -Mi Crawford, and is .'.-situated on _ the southern bank «f the Aohang« river, which is the boundary of the i>:-.v ' electorate. It is just, questionable whether, with the consc-ni of the Pahiatua Licensing Bench, the hotel could nbt t he transferrer! to the opposite side of the river, spei.?ig'\th«t it his would net mean an hicivsist" in- the .number of licensed houses in the Pahiatua electorate. Tlw point is- a very interesting one. Jt is also interesting to ncite that, the-M«3curi Hotel had-> a narrow escape from being brought into the dry area, the Masterton boundary passing within a few chains of it.
