IN THE MASTERTON bISTRICT. During the last iVw weeks there has heeu quite an- active demand for suburban and rural lands in the neighbourhood of faster ton, and a number of important pak'.s have been effected at prices which are hilly as iigh as those prevailing in the boom period of throe or lour years ago. One Mastenton agent 'has disponed of four properties during the last week or two. Several fine new residences are also about to be erected.
