The Hon. J. A. Millar offers as an excuse for his .failure to forward the invitations, to the Legislative Councillors to attend the Coronation festivities, the fact that the dnv.ita.tkms, which did not include members' wives and families, were an insult. Tin's is really a delicious apology for a most discourteous act upon the part of the- Ministry. An insult, to be sure! How scrupulously mindful A4imgtoi , & •are for ,the feelings of Legislative: Councillors! But,, if an insult were contained in the message Ifrom .members of the House of Commons, how much greater is the insult wMch denies Legislative Councillors the night of interpreting their own message?
