THE ANNUAL REPORT. - * Following is the annual report in connection with the Wbrisop Gold Dredging Company, to be presented at -the annual; meeting of sJiareli ildcrs to he held,.in Masterton cm August . Your Directors nave much pleasure in presenting von :he fotirth annual report and balance Eheeit. for the period eliding 30th June, i9ll, and congratulate .shareholders' on. the position, of the Company as disclosed in same. Tho I amount of gold won was 27880z., ibeing an increase of 13050z5. :is< compared avith the. previous year. The 'total 'gold won •since the dredge commenced operations amounts to v6B3lozb. During the twelve months under review the amount paid to shareholders in dividends was £4200, or 14s per share. Since the accompanying balance sheet was made out a further dividend of 3s per share ■has been paid, making a total of 35s per share to date. During the year your Directors placed another x.200 ito reserve, -which fund now stands iat £600; and the .balance of purchase money owing on the West Worksop claim has now .been paid off. The-'expenditure is high, which is accounted for to a. great extent Iby the ,green timber which has to be cleared before dredging. The Director who retires iby rotation is Mr J. Caselberg, who is eligible, and offers hiimselif for re-election. The auditor, Mr A. Hathaway, does tnot seek re-election.
