WELLINGTON EDUCATION BOARD.

RESULT OF ELECTION.

The result of the election, to the Wellington Education. Board was made known yesterday. For the Wellington City Ward the figures were: —J. G. W. Aitken, 68; D. McLaren, M.P., 32. For the Hutt-Horowhen-ua. Ward the result was:— Herbert Freeman, 127; H. R. Eider, 102. For the Wairarapa Ward, Mr A. H. Vilerasi returned unopposed. The personnel of the Board has not been altered, ©xcepttl .that Mr Freeman replaces Mr Elder. Mr Freeman is Chairman of the Horoiwhenua County Council, and resides at Ofcaki.
