A COUNCIL FORMED.
In connection with the recent for-' mation. of a Clydesdale Horse Society, 'it was decided that a Counoil of twenty-five members be elected, twelve from, thj© North. Island and twelve from the South Island, with; a chairman; and a temporary committee-, consisting of Messrs J. King*. (Southland), G. Thomson (Taieri), Jas Gow (Taieri), J. D. WylLe (Seffcan), E. Short (Parorangi), W. Gillies (Manawaltu), R. J. I>agg (Mastetrtony' aind. J. Hunter (Egmomt) were elected it© meet at am early date to draw uprules amd regulation®.
