FARMERS' UNION DAY.
The Farmers' Union CoiSeremoe yesterday passed a resolution, in favour of tliio establishing of a Union Day," on whicK and their families would hold a social reunion. The,'picnic * held a t Solway, tfiiasterton, early last year, was a triumphant success. If a similar function could be held annually under the auspices of ' the Farmers' Union, it would serve the double purpose of advertising the grounds and reviving interest in: the Union.
