CO-OPERATIVE LABOUR.
The Union lias entered another protest against the system of co-operative labour, as it exists in the Dominion to-day. In view of the large expendi/ture upon public works wliich is contemplated, between now and the election day, the protest is a timely one. The experience over the Main Trunk Railway, upon which hundreds of thousands of •pounds were squandered on co-oper-ative labour, should be sufficient to lOQiidemn the whole business. There are certain electorates, however, in. ./Wihiich votes,must »e "bought, and when voters; are the desideratum,money is no object. There is no hope for improvement' until the Party of expediency is relegated to obscurity- , ' /:
