Sir Edward Grey, &]Kv>l<ii?g ir> renly to questions in the House of Commons, gave details of the sufferings of the ten thousand Albanians who have sought refuge in Montenegro, and-of the hundreds to the southward of Skutari.
Britain, he said, was not able to undertake relief operations, but would endeavour to secure facilities for the exercise of private benevolence.
