The annual meeting of siiareholdersi of the Farmers'' Co-operative Association, adopted the report recommending a dividend of 8 per cent., a bonus'of 25 per cenit. on commissions, a bonus of 2 per cent, on goods purchased, bonus of 5 per cent..on salaries earned, and £IOOO carried forward. In .moving ihe adoption of the report, Mr R. D. D. McLean, chairman of directors, saad the prospects for the wool market were very brigtat. A Bradford, man informed him that the market would be good for the next ton years. He also referred io til© prospects of introducing New Zealand frozen meat into^ Continental markets. It was also decided that the members of the Union, should be urged to .only support candidates for Parliament who would favour 9s a day in, the Government service.
