The South Wales Miners' Federation has issued a manifesto to Britrish /miners, pleading for a national strike in favour of a minimum wag© in all collieries. The .manifesto state® that the South Wales .miners were compelled to pay four shillings per month to support the Cambrian strikers, while the coal owners" were simply paying lid per ton, giving the Cambrian combine £26,000 per month. The employers could therefore hold out for years without feeling the pinch.
