DEPARTMENTAL BUILDINGS.
A sum of several thousands of pounds was placed upon the estimates in, the last 'session of Parliament for the' erection of . Departmental Buildings in Masterton. A year has very .nearly gone, and apparently ,no steps iave been taken in the direction of expending the vote. What is to become of the money ? Is it to be added to next year's surplus? A question upon the subject by the local Chamber of Commerce might elicit an answer from the Minister of Works.
