(From Our Own Correspondents.' CARTERTON. Entries for the South Wiairarapa Poultry Association's show total close on 450. A heavy fog enveloped the town until a late hour yesterday morning. A dance is to be held at Parkvale on Friday evening, in aid of thefunds of St. Mark's Parkvale'branch of the Sunday School. The local branch of the Wairarapa Egg Circle yesterday despatched 128 dozen • eggs to the Wellington market. Mrs F. Townsend, of Wellington, and her little daughter, Gladys, are at present on a visit to Mrs Gravestock, of Clareville.
