ALLEGED CONSPIRACY. PROTECTION PROMISED. (Received June 19, 8.55 a.m.) LONDON, June 18. $ Vivian, Younger and Co. have issued a xeport in which it is stated that whatever possible will be done to protect tihe tin market from the results of any further conspiracy. Measures will be taken to restore confidence, the authorities being alive to the situation. (Last week it wias reported that there was evidence of a stringency ill' the tin market, and that prices had readied the maximum. The "hears" were allowed to cover their bn-the-ispot commitments at albout £230. Tihe committee of the Metal Exchange did not favour a suggestion that it should be given power to declare a "comer" in the market.)
