A number of United States Senators are pressing for criminal prosecutions of the Oil and Tobacco Trusts.
Folio wing .recent- legal decisions, the Kansas Supreme Court has issued orders to the Indiana Standard Oil, the Kansas Standard Oil, and Prairie Coal Gas Companies, ■winch ax© subsidiaries of the Standard Oil Trust, .prohibiting them from .combining to stifle competition.
