BRUTAL MURDERS

MADRID, June 13. A report from Alsazar states that one of Spain's motives in occupying La Rache was the murder of Haniid Benmalek and his two sons, who are Spanish proteges. The Pretender promised Hamid his life if he would eat the flesh of his murdered children. This Hamid refused to do, and he was instantly killed. His head was kicked about like a football. The French had one killed and five wounded, and the Moors had fifty killed.
