At a. New Zealand dinner given in London yesterday, the Right Hon. L. Harcount is reported to have 6aid that two .million acres of land' had been thrown open for close settlement in this Dominion since January, which was evidence that "opportunities offered for British youths of small means." It would be interest-: ing to know who was Mr H»r*ourt's authority for such a statement. It would also be specially interesting to. know where that two million acres is located'.
