AND THE CORONATION. His Worship the Mayor (Mr J. M. Coradine) is in receipt of the following unique l communication:— "As loyal subjects of his august Majesty King George V., who desire to uphold tihe dignity of the throne ' and person, we, tihe registered members of the Amalgamated Society of Droppers, beg to intimate that we are prepared' by demonstration of • procession to celeibrate the Coronation Festival in any manner wihich may be considered suitable by the civic fathers of Miasterton, We would respectfully suggest that the function take , the form processional, and that memfbers be supplied with material to be dropped at intervals along the route, thus illustrating a New Zealand industry of unique character. Kmemaitograpsb,ic photos of. the same could'.be .taken' along the route, and forwarded to His Most Excellent Majesty as souvenirs of an auspicious occasion."
