EKETAHUNA STOCK SALE. Messrs DaJgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Eket&huna on Friday, 9th June. They had a heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle, and. have to report' a total clearance hi sheep, which sold at prices in excess of late values. Cattle sold well at late prices. They quote:— Sheep: Forward 2-tooth wethers, 9s 9td, 10s lid to lis 4d; forward ewes, (good) 8s 6d to 9s 3d; a fine lot of ewes offered on account of Alpass Estate made 13s 7d, wlhile wethers from the same place made lis 4d. On account of other vendors: Mixed laimfbs, 5s 3d, 5s Sd to 6s 4d; ewes in lamb, 6s lOd, 7s'3d to.Bs 4d; 2tooth wethers, 9s 9d to lis Bd. Cattle.—- Weaners (mixed) 18s to 235; empty heifers (2 years) £2 5s 6d to £2 lis;'cows and calces, £2 15s to »£3 12s 6d; 3 and 4yr bullocks, £5 7s.
