AMUSEMENTS.

BELLE CROME BELLRiNGERS. The renowned Belle Crome Company, in the course of "their world's wanderings, will .shortly arrive in Masterton, and at the Town Hall on Saturday next, June 3rd, for a sea~ son of two nights only, will be presenting two entirely different programmes. Notwithstanding the years the Cronies 'have tbeen. before the public throughout Great Britain, South Africa, India, Australia, and the East, their entertainments have always- been -received with the genuine enthusiasm and delight always accorded to novelties, and where other .sTiow® have languished and collapsed these clever people have succeeded in drawing crowded houses. Besides the wonderful musical items on the bells, vocaiand instrumental items ajre given by Miss Belle Crome who leads the show with accustomed ease and brilliancy, ably seconded by Mr Harry Fane. . The -"-'work of these , clever-people in their musical items is remarkable and delightful. Mir Llewellyn, a Webb baritone of ex- ! ceptional purity and power, and Miss Ethel Richards, a. fine soprano, are the vocalists. Miss. Richards, aline soprano, lias been the recognised soloist for all leading functions in the cities of Dunedin, Christ-church, Timaru and Invercargiil for :some time past, and recently appeared before His Excellency Lord and Lady Islington by request wit InvercargiM. Miss Richards is also ' a Ballarat competition medallist. Mr Will Hughes is comedian, and tihe tiwo Arnolds are noted for their clever juggling specialty act. Their comedy work defies? description. It is not necessary to dilate upon .the excellence of the performance. That the Cromes can and do give a really first-class show goes without saying.
