GABINET DISCUSSION.
A QUESTION OF LOYALTY.
(Received Last Night, 9.5 o'clock.) SYDNEY, June 1.
Trouble is threatened in the State Cabinet over the statement of the Hon Mr Griffiths regarding the attitude of his colleagues in the Ministry over the proposed free ferry service Mr Holman, in an interview, stated that Mr Griffiths could very easily remedy the situation by resigning a position in which these relations with other Ministers prevail. He (Mr Holman) did not suppose there would be any difficulty in finding a Minister of Works who would administer the Department. There would be the same degree and possibly more loyalty, and the Department would then carry out the Cabinet policy, and not criticise it.
Mr Griffiths disclaims any disloyalty to his colleagues. '
