Several Masterton horses engaged at fche-'Obaici meeting were despatched by train yesterday. The Oeytown trotting meeting tomorrow promises to be a great success. The acceptances received are highly satisfactory. The Racing Commissioners' report is expected to be ready for publication to-morrow.
The Diimedin Jockey Club's winter meeting opens to-day. 'Trafalgar' has won. £13,138 in stakes, representing thirteen victories, up to and including-the S.A.J.G. Stdfces.
The New Zealand-bred horse Pink '' Urn arrived in Brisbane recently, having been purchased hi Sydney by Mr W. J. Hill for 800gns. Pint 'Un was a smart performer in Victoria three or four years ago, and was bred by Mr J. Robin. Hie annual meeting of the New Zealand Racing Conference will be held in the Town Hall, Wellington, on Tuesday, July 18th, at 10.30 a.m., and not on June 24tJh and 26th, a-« was previously announced. The tame for receiving notices of motion has been extended toj Saturday, June 10th.
